We should note that the launch of the first stream of the program took place on July 8, and the training of startups will continue until the end of September. The 15 best projects at the Product/Market Fit and Scale stages from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Mongolia and Tajikistan were selected for the first stream.

Program participants received free access to unique master classes and mentoring from top Google experts, experienced Astana Hub trackers and mentors, PR support. In addition, Astana Hub provided participants with accommodation apartments and a co-working space. They learned how to effectively build business processes, partnerships, to scale, prepared for attracting investment. The startups can also apply for funding up to 25 million tenge under the Seed Money program.

The second stream of the Silkway Accelerator program will start on September 2. Start-ups from Central Asia, Azerbaijan and Mongolia can participate in the selection process. The projects are evaluated by a special committee, which includes experts from Central Asian countries and representatives of Google Developers. The training will be conducted offline in Nur-Sultan and will last 3 months.
