SPECIAL CONDITIONS AND TRAINING REGULATIONS FOR THE “TECH ORDA” PROGRAM 1. Financial Terms, Co-financing, and Payment Procedure Co-financing payment terms: If the state-funded grant covers only part of the tuition fee, the student agrees to independently pay the remaining amount. Discounted payment options or monthly installment plans are available. Restrictions on internal discounts: Any marketing campaigns, promo codes, partner, or corporate discounts offered by IT STEP Academy do not apply to grant-subsidized courses. 2. Participant Requirements, Verification, and Enrollment Age and citizenship requirements: Only citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan aged 15 and older at the time of application submission are eligible to participate in the program. 3. Training Format, Educational Process, and Performance Monitoring (KPI) Available learning formats: Training is available both offline in equipped Academy classrooms and online through live webinars and дистанционного interaction with instructors. Attendance requirements: To retain the grant, students must attend at least 80% of total academic hours. Repeated lateness, absences, or leaving classes early without valid reason are considered absences. Independent catch-up policy: In case of missed classes, students must independently study the missed material via the MyStat LMS platform and complete all practical assignments. MyStat ecosystem: Each student receives personal access to the closed MyStat LMS platform for the entire training period. The platform contains lecture recordings, educational materials, homework assignments, deadlines, and grading systems. Sharing access with third parties is strictly prohibited. Technical requirements (BYOD): To fully participate in online classes, students must have their own laptop or personal computer with stable internet access that meets the minimum technical requirements of the chosen IT specialization. 4. Practice, Academic Integrity, and Certification Practice-oriented program: The course includes practical assignments, real industry case studies, and a final capstone project forming the basis of the student’s professional portfolio. Final assessment eligibility: To be admitted to the final exam and project defense, students must complete and submit 100% of homework, practical, and project assignments. Academic integrity: All code, architectural solutions, and design projects must be completed independently by the student. Plagiarism or direct AI-generated submission without personal understanding and refinement may result in immediate disqualification. Final certification: Upon completion of the program, students undergo a comprehensive assessment including a theoretical exam and public defense of the final project before an independent Academy examination committee. 5. Career Center, Employment, and Government Reporting Career Center support: All graduates receive support from the IT STEP Career Center, including resume preparation, LinkedIn/GitHub profile audits, interview preparation, and priority access to partner company vacancies. Employment obligations: Since the program is funded by the government to increase the number of IT specialists, students commit to actively cooperating with the Career Center and making every effort to secure employment, freelance work, or establish an IT-related business after graduation. Employment verification documents: Graduates agree to provide official proof of employment upon request from the Academy or Astana Hub representatives. 6. Expulsion Policy and Sanctions Unilateral expulsion: IT STEP Academy reserves the right to expel a student and revoke the state grant in the following cases: • Exceeding the absence limit (more than 20% of classes missed)
• Chronic poor academic performance and failure to meet deadlines
• Violation of internal regulations or academic integrity policies
• Damage to Academy property or toxic/destructive behavior Replacement from reserve list: In the event of expulsion or voluntary withdrawal, the Academy may enroll a candidate from the official Astana Hub reserve list.
