Brief Description
- We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our software engineering team and help refactor and enhance our data mart solution.
You will work closely with experienced engineers, leveraging top-tier technologies such as PrimeFaces, Jakarta EE, and Oracle RDBMS to deliver efficient, scalable solutions for our clients. Apply now to lead impactful projects and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Java-based applications
- Develop and optimize user interfaces using PrimeFaces
- Integrate and manage APIs to support system functionality
- Refactor existing data mart solution for improved performance
- Deploy and configure applications on GlassFish application server
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives
- Ensure adherence to Jakarta EE standards in application development
- Manage and maintain Oracle RDBMS for data storage and retrieval
- Perform code reviews to maintain high quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Guide and mentor junior developers in best practices
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Java development
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Proven track record in data mart or data warehouse projects
- Advanced knowledge of the PrimeFaces framework
- Proficiency with GlassFish application server
- Strong expertise in Jakarta EE 11
- Solid understanding of NetBeans IDE
- Experience with Oracle DB ExaCC
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2)
Nice to Have
- Certification in Jakarta EE
- Oracle Certified Professional Java SE
- Experience with Faces 4.1 framework
- Knowledge of Java API design patterns
- Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions
