On December 5-6, 2025, ITFest 2025, one of the largest youth festivals in the field of digital and creative industries, will be held at the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty. The event is organized within the framework of the AI-Sana state program by the Alliance of Universities of Kazakhstan with the support of the NNEF Public Foundation.
The alliance unites the country's leading universities — AITU, MUIT, KBTU and UIB, which train specialists for the national economy.
The festival is aimed at developing digital skills, entrepreneurial thinking and a culture of project activity among students and schoolchildren, as well as popularizing the use of artificial intelligence.
The participants will have competitions in 8 directions:
- Hackathon — solutions for businesses and government agencies on the topics of AI, blockchain, big data and digital services;
- Startup Battle — presentations of projects in GreenTech, FinTech, EdTech, MedTech and Creative Industry;
- CyberSecurity CTF — Information Security Tournament;
- CyberSport — CS2, Dota 2, and FIFA disciplines;
- Movie & Video — Short film and AI content contest;
- Design & Animation — webtoon, animation and AI design;
- ITFest Open (ICPC) — sports programming among students;
- Junior ITFest is a competition for students in grades 9-11.
