- How payments are arranged "under the hood": the main participants are the issuing bank, acquiring, terminals
- How Bank cards work: EMV, Authorization, and messaging between banks (ISO 8583)
- How contactless payment works: NFC from card to terminal
- Practice: we issue an H&S Skills payment card and make an NFC payment in real time, and of course we will print a receipt confirming the payment
- Analysis of the technical implementation: services are mainly in Go, a little Java
Speaker: Pavel Gabriel, a fintech engineer with 20 years of experience. He developed payment systems, and is now engaged in processing bank cards. He works with EMV, ISO 8583, NFC, writes open-source libraries on Go and shares his practical experience.
