About the vacancy:
We are looking for a Product/Data analyst at kolesa.kz, which will analyze the condition of the product and help improve it.
You will be part of a team of analysts (50+ specialists) gathered from different parts of the world. We work closely with product managers, researchers, and developers to make data-driven decisions and influence product strategy.

You will have to:
- Analyze application and website metrics to make product decisions;
- To help businesses with the formation, prioritization and implementation of a strategy;
- Monitor and evaluate the introduction of new product features through experiments. We use a very wide range of tools and conduct about 300 experiments per year.;
- Search for insights in a large amount of data to form a product strategy;
- Immerse yourself in discovery processes together with products, researchers, designers and developers;
- Visualize data, create reports, and draw conclusions;
- Formulate and test hypotheses (A/B tests, Causal Inference experiments, Causal ML, etc.);
- Actively work with DWH engineers and ensure the quality of our data system;
- Use ML tools to better understand and solve business problems and build ML solutions.;
- To develop and study new methods of data analysis in the product. We try to follow state-of-the-art solutions in data analysis.
We expect you to:
- Deep understanding of conducting experiments (A/B testing, Causal Inference, Advanced methods);
- Experience in product analytics and understanding of key metrics;
- Strong command of SQL and experience working with Python.
- Experience in applying analytics to solve business problems. The ability to connect business and analytical context in both directions.
It will be an advantage:
- Experience working with the Google Cloud stack (our DWH is built on Google Big Query) or other cloud storage;
- Knowledge and experience in BI systems (we use Microsoft Power BI);
- Experience working with ETL and orchestration systems (preferably Airflow);
- Experience working with ML to solve analytical or business problems.
