Product Quality Engineer

We are looking for someone who can understand how a product should work, check if it actually works, and help the team translate customer ideas and requirements into clear development goals.

A suitable candidate should be able to: a) systematically test web products, including new features, integrations, user flows, boundary situations, and regression scenarios; b) turn business requirements, customer requests, and product ideas into understandable and manageable user stories; c) create acceptance criteria that can be tested in practice; d) identify missing details, contradictions, and unclear requirements before development begins; e) clearly document errors, including the stages of reproduction, expected behavior, actual behavior, and supporting evidence; f) prepare and maintain product documentation, technical documentation, and user documentation; g) work comfortably with developers and discuss technical issues in practice. h) perform basic product configuration and, if necessary, make minor technical changes.

Experience working with APIs, databases, SQL, scripts, non-coding tools, or basic interface/backend development skills would be a great advantage.

We do not expect this person to be a senior developer. However, they must be technically confident, willing to explore problems on their own, and able to solve simple setup or development tasks without relying on a team of engineers for every minor change.

You will work in between product creation, testing, and development.

A typical task may start with a business idea, a customer request, or a description of how a function should work. Your task will be to help the development team implement and test this feature properly.

Your responsibilities will include: a) analyzing product ideas, specifications, and customer requirements; b) breaking down larger requirements into user stories and appropriately sized tasks; c) writing clear descriptions, acceptance criteria, expected behavior, and test results; d) verifying the completeness and clarity of stories before submitting them to development.; e) preparation of test scenarios and test cases; f) conducting functional, regression, integration, usability and research testing; g) checking both standard user flows and less obvious non-standard situations; h) comparing the provided functionality with the initial requirements and acceptance criteria; i) documenting defects and working with developers until they are eliminated; j) confirming completed stories based on test results rather than assumptions; k) Maintaining product documentation, user instructions, release notes, and internal technical guidance; l) Configuring product settings, workflows, templates, permissions, or integrations; m) Performing basic tasks developing or writing scripts when it's more important. more effective than transferring work to another team member; n) helps improve the team's approach to requirements, testing, documentation, and release quality.

This is an important position in a small technology company. A specialist should be comfortable switching between detailed testing, structured writing, product discussion, and practical technical work.
