Senior DevOps Engineer at GCP

Job Overview

We are looking for a senior DevOps engineer with extensive experience in GCP to support and improve the cloud platform. You will be involved in infrastructure design, automation, and system reliability, working with engineering teams to ensure efficient and stable delivery pipelines.

A set of technologies

Google cloud platform, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI CD tools, Linux, Git, monitoring and logging tools

Requirements

• Work experience as a DevOps engineer in cloud environments
• Extensive practical experience working with Google Cloud Platform
• Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Experience working with infrastructure creation tools in the form of code, such as Terraform
• Experience in designing and managing CI CD pipelines
• Deep knowledge of Linux systems and the basics of networking
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and notification tools
• Familiarization with Git and Version control workflows

That would be a plus

• Experience working with multiple cloud environments
• Introduction to scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Experience working with security systems in cloud environments
• The ability to optimize performance and manage costs on cloud platforms

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain your cloud infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform
• Develop and manage CI CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery
• Automate infrastructure preparation using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and improve system reliability.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of services
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and applications in different environments
• Apply advanced security practices in cloud infrastructure and deployments
• Optimize cloud resources for increased productivity and cost-effectiveness
