Data Scientist at a HealthTech startup

Main requirements

Medical.kz — it is a platform for searching and receiving online medical consultations throughout Kazakhstan. We connect patients with doctors, help them make informed decisions, and develop the digital healthcare ecosystem. As a team, we build solutions at the intersection of AI, Data Science, and infrastructure.

We are currently looking for a Data Science intern to help us start large-scale work with data and AI agents.

Basic knowledge of Python and libraries: pandas, scikit-learn, BeautifulSoup or Selenium
Interest in AI, Data Science and/or Health/MedTech
The ability to learn quickly and complete tasks on time
Responsibility, attention to detail, and interest in medical technology
Experience working with LLM (for example, OpenAI API)

What you will do

Collect and parse data from open and structured sources
Help with data annotation and markup
Work with LLM and AI models: write prompta, analyze the behavior of models
Create simple AI agents based on language models (for example, FAQ bots)
Perform basic data analysis, help with reports and dashboards
Participate in experiments to improve our solutions
