Tech Lead / Senior Fullstack Developer (AI products)

Main tasks

• adopt and explore the existing architecture and codebase;
• become a technical product owner;
• independently develop key backend modules;
• develop functions based on LLM, embeddings, RAG, vector search, classification, OCR and document processing;
• design APIs, background processes, queues, and integration with external systems;
• participate in customer business process surveys;
• translate business tasks from different departments into understandable technical solutions;
• evaluate the timing and technical feasibility of AI projects;
• participate in the creation and launch of MVP for corporate clients;
• manage a small development team;
• decompose tasks and monitor their execution;
• conduct code review and maintain uniform development standards;
• monitor the stability and quality of releases;
• identify technical risks and limitations in advance;
• participate in product planning with the CEO and the business team;
• document the architecture and key technical solutions;
• be responsible for bringing tasks to a working result.

What is mandatory for us

• at least 5 years of commercial development experience;
• strong knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js and NestJS;
• strong understanding of the backend architecture;
• practical experience with PostgreSQL;
• understanding RabbitMQ, Redis, and asynchronous processes;
• experience in REST API development and integration with external systems;
• work experience as a Senior Developer, Team Lead or Tech Lead;
• experience in managing or providing technical support to a team of 2-5 developers;
• practical experience in integrating LLM or AI services into a work product;
• the ability to understand the existing code and consistently improve the system without unjustified complete redesign;
• the ability to make technical decisions independently and be responsible for the result;
• the ability to estimate deadlines and report possible problems in advance.

It will be an advantage

• experience working with Python and FastAPI;
• understanding Next.js and React at the fullstack development management level;
• experience working with Prisma, Zod and monorepositories;
• experience in developing RAG systems and working with pgvector;
• experience in processing a large number of documents;
• experience in creating AI solutions for business process automation;
• experience in optimizing LLM and infrastructure costs;
• experience working with parsers and external portals;
• experience in developing B2B SaaS products.

The format of the work

• the office is located in Almaty;
• The probation period is 2 months.;
• During the probation period, work is carried out from the office.;
• After successful completion of the probation period, a hybrid format is used: three days in the office and two days a week from home.

Terms of payment

All amounts are indicated on hand:

• for the two—month probation period - 1,000,000 ₸ per month;
• after successful completion of the probation period — 1,200,000 ₸ per month;
• The planned grade review is carried out after 12 months of work.;
• the salary for the next grade is up to 1,500,000 ₸ per month, depending on the results and level of responsibility.

For a specialist who shows exceptional and measurable results in the first 3-6 months, an early salary review is possible.

The assessment takes into account the actual contribution to the development of the product, the stability of the system, the implementation of key releases, the quality of team management and the ability to independently solve complex technical tasks.
