QA Engineer / Tester

• Commercial experience as a QA Engineer for at least 1 year.
• Experience in manual testing of web and iOS/Android mobile applications.
• Understanding the software development lifecycle and the role of QA in the development process.
• Practical experience in functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing.
• The ability to create checklists, test cases, and test scenarios.
• The ability to correctly describe bugs: the steps of reproduction, the actual and expected result, the environment.
• Experience testing the REST API, understanding HTTP methods, response codes, and JSON.
• Experience working with Postman or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of SQL and the ability to perform simple database queries.
• The ability to independently understand the requirements, layouts and business logic of a product, to find controversial scenarios and potential problems.
• Experience working with task management and bug tracking systems.

We are not looking for a Senior QA and do not expect a specialist to build a complex automated testing infrastructure from scratch. We need a confident mid-level specialist who is able to independently take responsibility for the quality of testing of their tasks and projects.

• Test web applications, administrative dashboards, and iOS/Android mobile applications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing.
• Check new features and changes before going into production.
• To test REST API and integration between systems.
• Analyze requirements, task statements, and layouts before and during development.
• Find controversial scenarios, borderline cases, and potential problems before the functionality is released.
• Create and maintain checklists, test cases, and test scenarios where necessary.
• Reproduce the errors found, determine the conditions of their occurrence and describe them in detail for the development team.
• To re-check corrections and monitor the absence of regressions.
• Interact with developers, analysts, and project managers on product quality issues.
• Participate in improving testing processes within the team.
