Accountant

Requirements for the candidate:

· Specialized experience as a chief accountant, deputy chief accountant, financial controller or auditor in the following areas:

·      FinTech / payment organizations / neobanks;

·      brokerage companies / depositories / exchanges;

· second-tier banks - back-office or accounting units securities/currency transactions;

· Audit of financial institutions.

·      Experience working with off-balance sheet accounts, understanding the principles of separation of the company's own funds and customer funds.

·      English is at the B1-B2 level.

Main tasks at the launch stage:

1.    Accounting architecture and methodology:

· Development and implementation of a Working Chart of accounts with a distinction between balance sheet accounting (own activities) and off-balance sheet accounting (client assets in custody).

·      Drawing up an accounting policy and tax model, taking into account custodial commissions, tariff schedules and regulatory requirements.

·      Qualification of atypical financial transactions and development of regulations for their reflection.

2. Automation and interaction with IT:

· Formation of technical specifications for the IT team on the integration of the custodial core with the accounting system.

·      Exclusion of manual input: setting up automatic generation of transactions based on logs and events from the system core.

3.    Setting up a reconciliation system:

· Development of algorithms and processes for daily three-way control: data from the custodial core = off-balance sheet accounting = actual storage registers.

4.    Regulatory reporting and audit:

·      Preparation of financial and regulatory reporting forms in accordance with the requirements of the jurisdiction of the presence.

· Setting up an internal control system and organizing an "audit trail" for passing inspections.

We are developing a B2B infrastructure for the secure storage and management of digital assets. The project is at the stage of preparation for launch, and now we are forming the financial and accounting outline of the company.

We are looking for a specialized specialist from FinTech or the financial sector (banks, brokers, payment institutions, Big4) who is ready to build a company's accounting system "from scratch" and lead the financial and accounting department.

Experience working with blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies is not required.
