Main requirements
The IT STEP Computer Academy in Almaty is looking for a teacher of design and 3D modeling. You will work with 15-19-year-olds who are just starting to get acquainted with 3D graphics and design. We are especially waiting for candidates with a portfolio of 3D works and projects in Blender.
- At least 6 months of experience in design and/or teaching
- Confident ownership of Blender
- Understanding the basics of 3D modeling and visualization, working with materials, textures and lighting
- Understanding the basics of composition, color, and typography
- The ability to explain complex things clearly
- Education: design, art, architecture, IT or related fields
- Experience working with children will be an advantage.
What you will do
- Conducting practical classes on design and 3D modeling
- Learning to work in Blender: 3D models, scenes, visualizations
- Working with materials, textures, lighting, and cameras
- Development of practical tasks and support of individual and group projects
- Student feedback and support for a friendly atmosphere in the classroom
- Participation in competitions, master classes and projects of the Academy
