On August 14, 2025, a historic event for the development of sustainable tourism in Central Asia took place within the framework of the Economic Forum under the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. OO Project Alice with the TravelCompanion project (Kazakhstan) and the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic signed a memorandum of international cooperation.

The signing took place in electronic format through the ONLINE CONTRACT KZ service, which emphasizes the modern and technological approach of the parties to interaction.

Key objectives of cooperation:

Implementation of uniform standards of sustainable tourism for guides and accommodation facilities.

Development of a digital platform for training, certification and calculation of the carbon footprint.

Support for a round-the-world expedition in electric cars (80EDAYS) to promote eco-friendly transport and the tourism potential of the region.

The introduction of ESG standards in logistics and the involvement of young people in sustainable development projects.

This step strengthens the position of Central Asia as a pioneer in the field of technological and responsible tourism. Together, we will make sustainable travel affordable, profitable and widespread!
