Middle Python Engineer

ISSAI (Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence) is looking for a Middle Python Engineer with 3+ years experience in industry. 

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable backend services using Django/FastAPI

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs - Build robust CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes

- Building the infrastructure above ML models

- Working with and deploying ML models 

Mode: Full-time, offline
Location: Astana, Nazabayev University Campus

Requirements:

- 3+ years commercial Python development experience

- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices

- Django, FastAPI - PostgresSQL (query optimization, database design)

- Docker, Docker-compose

- CI/CD pipeline, Github Actions

- RabbitMQ, Celery

- Experience deploying ML models would be an advantage

- Experience with testing frameworks and code quality tools

- Fluent spoken English

- Kazakh
