Position overview

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting key compliance reports across multiple international markets. You will design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions to support data requirements and analysis. This role requires optimizing database performance, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support key compliance reports across various international markets
• Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions
• Support requirements gathering, data mapping, and data analysis efforts
• Optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing strategies
• Collaborate with development teams to implement efficient database solutions for applications
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
• Participate in database design reviews and provide technical recommendations
• Document database schemas, procedures, and processes thoroughly
• Support testing and validation to ensure correctness of data in reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in SQL development involving complex reporting requirements
• Proficiency in one or more database systems such as RedShift, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar
• Strong understanding of indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning techniques
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Nice to have

• Experience in the gaming or sports betting industry is a plus
• Experience with complex regulatory compliance requirements
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Looker
• Python programming experience
• Knowledge of cloud database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc.)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
