Free Artificial Intelligence Education Center Opens for Schoolchildren in Kazakhstan
This October, the Creative Technologies Center TUMO will open at the International Artificial Intelligence Center alem.ai. The center is designed for schoolchildren aged 12 to 18 and will operate as a supplementary educational facility, allowing students to attend classes either before or after school hours. The announcement was made by Valeria Tyo, Managing Director of the Autonomous Cluster Fund "Park of Innovative Technologies," during a press conference at the Central Communications Service.

The curriculum will cover 11 core areas, including generative artificial intelligence, programming, animation, digital music, robotics, and other cutting-edge disciplines.
“We plan to enroll 5,000 to 6,000 schoolchildren annually at the AI Center. The training will be completely free of charge for all students. The only entry requirement is age. All students need to do is apply and secure their spot. We understand how important this initiative is and want to give every schoolchild in Kazakhstan the opportunity to attend this center. In the future, we aim to scale the project to other regions, including Almaty, and cover the entire country within the next 3 to 5 years,” said Valeria Tyo.
She also noted that remote areas will be equipped with so-called TUMO Boxes, which will enable children in rural communities to access tech education.
Valeria Tyo also provided insights into adult education programs for individuals aged 18 and above. Since 2021, Kazakhstan has been implementing the Tech Orda program, under which nearly 10,000 individuals have been trained and acquired in-demand IT skills, including in areas related to artificial intelligence such as Big Data, cybersecurity, and software development. A total of 72 tech schools are involved in the program. According to Tyo, the program has shown high effectiveness, with 88% of graduates successfully gaining employment. The courses last for six months or more and are offered free of charge at Tomorrow School.
“For students seeking more advanced knowledge, we launched Tomorrow School, the first AI school in Kazakhstan based on a peer-to-peer learning methodology. This means there are no traditional instructors — students support each other in mastering new skills using the 01edu digital platform. The program spans 24 months, during which students complete more than 50 projects of varying complexity and learn over 20 programming languages,” she explained.
Moreover, students from the regions who pass the selection process are provided with free accommodation in Astana.
To enroll in Tomorrow School, applicants must register on the platform, complete logic and memory games, and undergo a “pool” stage — a four-week intensive on-campus program where top candidates are selected.
The school has been operational since last October and has already received over 12,000 applications from across Kazakhstan. Currently, more than 200 students are enrolled in the main program. The average age of participants is 27, although there are students aged 50 and above.
Additionally, Astana Hub supports the IT-Aiel program, now in its third year, implemented in partnership with the non-profit organization TechnoWomen. To date, more than 5,500 women across the country have completed digital skills training under this initiative.

Exercise extreme caution when dealing with this company. They scammed me out of my money and even gained unauthorized access to my banking information, which severely impacted my financial well-being. I had initially approached them with the hope of improving my life through investment, but instead, I was deceived. This company should be thoroughly investigated and shut down to prevent further harm. Fortunately, I was able to recover my funds thanks to Mrs. Rose. Although I was initially hesitant and unsure about contacting her, I decided to take the risk and I’m so glad I did. You can reach her via telegram user name (@RoseCyberHives) and email rosecryptoinvestment11@gmail. com With the help of her skilled team of cybersecurity professionals and cryptocurrency experts, I was able to recover my lost funds quickly and with minimal stress, a sharp contrast to my previous experience. If you’ve been scammed or are in a similar situation, I highly recommend reaching out to her for assistance. via telegram user name (@RoseCyberHives) rosecryptoinvestment11@ gmail. com
