CYBERPACK.AI Raises $300,000: Kazakh Startup Goes Global in EdTech

Kazakhstan-based startup CYBERPACK.AI, a participant of Astana Hub’s Startup Garage program, has raised $300,000 in pre-seed angel investment at a valuation of $2 million. The round included participation from top executives of Shell, Qatar Energy, and Apache Corporation, who supported the team’s mission – to make advanced technical education accessible to children worldwide.

CYBERPACK.AI combines a digital platform with physical STEAM kits designed to help students aged 7 to 18 build science projects, prepare for competitions, and develop engineering thinking and 21st-century skills. Building a science portfolio is increasingly becoming a key component of applying to technical universities and pursuing careers in STEAM fields. In just one year, the startup has implemented its product in 67 schools across Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, including Haileybury Astana, Harmony School, RFMS Uralsk, Prometheus, Farabi International School, and others. CYBERPACK has also launched the ICRC international competition and is rapidly expanding partnerships with public schools in Astana, Pavlodar, Semey, Mangystau, and Petropavlovsk.

A key milestone in the company’s growth was participation in the Startup Garage incubation program, during which the team achieved significant traction – increasing the number of partner schools tenfold and expanding internationally to Azerbaijan. The project won the BI EdTech Challenge and was recognized during strategic sessions, where it was presented jointly with Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Digital Development to the Head of State and the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.

“One of our most important insights was realizing that in an early-stage startup, focus and structure are everything. We went from intuitive, manual management to building repeatable processes, learning to delegate, and relying on data. Thanks to Startup Garage, we learned how to make strategic decisions, avoid distractions, and build a real operational engine capable of scaling. It’s not just about growth – it’s about sustainable, long-term progress,” said Madi Sovetov, COO of CYBERPACK.AI.

According to the team, the newly raised funds will be used to scale production, develop a mobile app and AI module, expand the team of developers, engineers, and curriculum designers, and enter new international markets, including Qatar, Germany, Turkey, and Egypt. Meanwhile, domestic expansion continues with new partnerships among public and private schools in Kazakhstan.
