From Central Eurasia to San Francisco: Road to Battlefield Unlocks Global Opportunities

For the first time, startups from Central Eurasia will have a direct path to one of the world’s most prestigious startup stages — TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 2025. The regional selection round, titled Road to Battlefield, will cover 9 countries, including Kazakhstan, and give the top three startups the opportunity to pitch in San Francisco.

The initiative is organized by the Silkroad Innovation Hub, with support from TechCrunch and Freedom Holding, and key partners including the international innovation cluster Astana Hub.

“For us, participating in this global initiative is not just an opportunity, but a natural extension of our strategy to bring regional startups to international markets. Astana Hub residents are already working globally, participating in accelerators like AlchemistX, Silicon Valley Residency, and Hero Training, and showing consistent growth. The combined annual revenue of Astana Hub startups now exceeds $1.5 billion, which reflects the ecosystem’s maturity and readiness for global scale.
Road to Battlefield is the next step — it opens direct access to venture capital, international partnerships, and one of the most respected startup stages in the world,” said Magzhan Madiyev, CEO of Astana Hub.

The national selection round begins on July 21, with the final set for August 15. Winners will receive not only a spot at TechCrunch Disrupt, but also full support, including flights and accommodation for two team members, and access to investors and media.

Applications are open until July 15, 2025, via the link.
