On November 29, 2024, a conference "Responsible Business as a key element of the country's sustainable development" was held in Kazakhstan, organized by NAC Kazatomprom JSC and Samruk-Kazyna JSC. The event was attended by representatives of government agencies, the business community, international organizations and experts in the field of corporate integrity.

Vitaly Trenkenshu, CEO, spoke at the panel session "Tools for ensuring corporate integrity" datanomix.pro and redflags.ai . His report on "The experience of using LLM (AI) and data analytics to identify risks in procurement" aroused wide interest among participants.

In his speech, Vitaly Trenkenshu shared the results of the research conducted by his team:"We have identified five risk indicators that help identify imitation of competition in procurement. After conducting an analysis, we estimated what proportion of tenders in our purchases has signs of imitation of competition. This data makes it possible to make informed decisions to minimize risks and increase transparency of processes."

Vitaly Trenkenshu stressed that the use of artificial intelligence-based technologies and data analytics helps to significantly improve procurement control, minimize corruption risks and strengthen trust in processes

The session was moderated by Berik Bekniyazov, Director of KPMG's Forensic Practice in the Central Asia and Caucasus region. Other speakers included:

• Askar Darmenov (Samruk-Kazyna JSC) with the topic "Practical implementation of the elements of the compliance program";
• Salamat Balmakhanov (London Stock Exchange Group) with the report "Artificial intelligence in the field of compliance: trends and opportunities";
• Yerlan Seksembayev (kyc.kz ) with the topic "Using information systems to analyze the reliability of a counterparty".

The conference became an important platform for the exchange of best practices and discussion of the prospects for the introduction of modern technologies to strengthen corporate integrity and sustainable development of the economy of Kazakhstan.
