Astana Hub Resident Finflow Raises $500,000 from U.S. Venture Fund
Finflow, a resident startup of Astana Hub, has announced the closing of its pre-seed investment round, securing $500,000 in funding. The lead investor is Orbit Startups (USA), a venture fund under the umbrella of global accelerator SOSV, which manages over $1.5 billion in assets. The fund’s portfolio includes internationally recognized companies such as Perfect Corp, Leapmotor, BitMEX, Clearbot, and others. The round was also supported by other local and international investors, including Axiom Capital, Bask International Group, and a number of Kazakhstani angel investors.

Finflow is developing an AI-powered financial director for SMEs, giving every entrepreneur access to a personal financial assistant. The team is preparing to launch a full-scale AI financial agent capable of performing core CFO functions – from building financial models and analyzing cash flow to preparing businesses for bank financing.
“We see that millions of entrepreneurs in Central Asia operate without proper financial management, face cash flow gaps, and lack access to capital. Financial planning shouldn’t be a luxury reserved for corporations. We’re building Finflow so that every entrepreneur – even without a financial background – can make informed decisions, raise capital, and scale their business,”
said Daulet Aitmakhanov, CEO and co-founder of Finflow.
In Q1 of this year, the startup signed pilot agreements with several Kazakhstani banks, whose combined SME client base exceeds 200,000 businesses. Finflow is currently working with Bank CenterCredit on a technological solution that could set a new standard for digital lending for entrepreneurs in the region.
