The program now covers 16 regions of Kazakhstan. For the first time, such a large-scale initiative is available not only in the capital, but also in Kokshetau, Semey, Atyrau, Shymkent, Taraz, Aktau, and many other cities. This means the startup ecosystem is spreading nationwide, creating equal opportunities for talented teams regardless of geography.
“Startup Orda is more than just a program—it’s a tool that opens the door to IT for people in any region of the country. We want talented young people from Kyzylorda, Uralsk, or Taldykorgan to have the same opportunities as teams in Astana or Almaty. In just two months, participants can go from idea to real product, with the support of experienced trackers and experts, as well as access to the infrastructure of Astana Hub, the country’s largest IT hub,” noted Aida Dusova, Director of Regional Development Office at Astana Hub.
What awaits participants? First and foremost, a comprehensive learning experience: how to test hypotheses, find first customers, package a product, and enter the market. Instead of dry theory, the focus is on practice—workshops, group sessions, and one-on-one mentorship. In addition, participants get a free workspace, coworking access, and a vibrant community atmosphere where ideas gain momentum. The journey culminates with Demo Day, where the best projects will have the chance to present themselves and move to the next level.
The program is designed for teams at all stages of development: from those with just an idea to projects with a ready MVP or even a working product prepared for scaling. And all of this is offered free of charge, right within the regional IT hubs.
Applications for Startup Orda are now open on the Astana Hub platform.
