Over the past year, Central Asian Innovation Hubs has showcased technology startups from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan at major global forums, including the INMerge Innovation Summit in Baku, TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco, Web Summit in Lisbon, GITEX Europe in Berlin, the Singapore FinTech Festival, Eurasian Technology Week in Istanbul, London Tech Week, GITEX Germany in Berlin, the Expand North Star exhibition within GITEX Global in Dubai, as well as the Central Asia at Silicon Valley conference.
“We highly value our strategic partnership with IT Park Uzbekistan. During the first year under the Central Asian Innovation Hubs brand, we succeeded in combining the innovation potential of Kazakhstan’s and Uzbekistan’s ecosystems and creating a single entry point for promoting Central Asian startups to global markets. Participating under a unified brand enabled more than 90 startups to gain access to international programs, investors, and partners in the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Türkiye. Today, Central Asian Innovation Hubs has already become a recognizable regional representative on the global technology map, and we are committed to consistently strengthening its role in the international promotion of Central Asian startups,” said Magzhan Madiyev, CEO of Astana Hub.
The startups showcased through the initiative operate in the fields of AI, FinTech, HealthTech, IoT, GovTech, and climate solutions. Among them are Kazakhstan-based teams such as BeyimTech AI, Pwron.ai, ZebraEye, ProsperPay, Beksar, Hired Valley, Foqus, ESG Track, as well as startups from Uzbekistan including IMAN Global, Uzum, Billz, Sharh, Unitlab AI, Finco, Eskiz, and many others. Their participation highlights the growing technological capacity of Central Asia and the increasing interest of international ecosystems in the region.
“In its first year, Central Asian Innovation Hubs has evolved from an initiative into a real mechanism for globalizing our technology region. Today, more than 100 startups from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are entering major international platforms — from TechCrunch Disrupt and Web Summit to GITEX and London Tech Week — forming a recognizable brand of Central Asia as a unified tech zone. Startups from Uzbekistan participating in the initiative have attracted over $82 million in investments, confirming the growing trust of global investors in our market. In 2025, startups from our region expanded to foreign markets — from the Middle East to the United States — participating in international accelerators such as Draper University, AlchemistX, Silicon Valley Residency, Digital Scale Up Dubai, and others. Our next step is to scale this success: expand the partner network, strengthen export support, and create a pipeline of startups capable of competing at the level of leading global technological ecosystems. Central Asia is no longer an observer — it is becoming a full-fledged participant in the global innovation market,” emphasized Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan.
In addition to participation in global forums, a key direction of the partnership has been the launch of practical tools for startup globalization. Over the year, 29 teams from the region completed international educational and acceleration programs, including Hero Training at Draper University, AlchemistX, and the Silicon Valley Residency Program in partnership with Silkroad Innovation Hub. These initiatives provided access to mentorship from Silicon Valley experts, international corporations, and investors, creating a strong pipeline for startups entering the US market and other advanced tech ecosystems.
In the coming year, Central Asian Innovation Hubs will continue expanding its international presence and increasing the number of globalization programs, including participation in major global events such as GITEX, Web Summit, TechCrunch Disrupt, and the Singapore FinTech Festival, as well as launching new international acceleration initiatives.
It should be noted that the strategic goal of Central Asian Innovation Hubs by 2030 is to facilitate the creation of more than eight technological “unicorns” and increase the combined IT export volume of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to $10 billion.
