This year, the hackathon brought together more than 4,800 participants who formed over 2,000 teams. These are record-breaking numbers in the history of the project, reaffirming Decentrathon’s position as the largest technological competition in the country. The total prize fund amounted to 15 million tenge for Decentrathon and USD 20,000 for Solana Day. Key partners included Solana Superteam KZ in the blockchain track, inDrive, Bank CenterCredit and bcc hub in the AI track.

This year, Decentrathon offered participants unique challenges from Kazakhstan’s leading technology companies. Together with inDrive, teams worked on two tasks: creating a computer vision system to determine a car’s condition from a photo (cleanliness and body damage), and analyzing anonymized trip geotrails to predict demand, optimize routes and reduce waiting times.
“Decentrathon was a tremendous success: we received more than 200 solutions from over 2000 team participants, which far exceeded our expectations. The event had a lively and friendly atmosphere, which helped us engage actively with the teams. Safety is inDrive’s top priority, which is why our tasks were centered around this theme. Despite the variety in the level of ideas presented, the final winners demonstrated truly high-quality and interesting solutions. We are confident that the scale and high level of participation will undoubtedly make Decentrathon a strong foundation for successful projects and new technologies in Kazakhstan,” noted Arai Bekembayev, inDrive’s Head of Business in Kazakhstan.

In the blockchain track, teams developed DeFi protocols and platforms for asset tokenization — from real estate and artwork to in-game items. These solutions transform real and digital assets into tokens, creating new investment opportunities and showcasing the potential of Kazakhstani developers in Web3.
“Solana Day by Decentrathon showcased the incredible energy and creativity of a new generation of developers. Kazakhstan is rapidly becoming a magnet for Web3 talent, and we are proud that Solana Superteam KZ is helping turn these ideas into real products capable of entering global markets,” said Talgat Dossanov, Lead of Solana Superteam in the region.
The partnership with Bank CenterCredit and bcc hub focused on developing a system of personalized push notifications and an intelligent OCR 2.0 solution for processing banking documents. The teams built a prototype that analyzes customer behavior and automatically offers personalized financial benefits, as well as a document recognition solution capable of interpreting both structure and meaning.

“Decentrathon 4.0 is a large-scale event that took place at a very high level and brought together key market players — from government to private companies and startups. This kind of partnership opens new opportunities for the development of information technologies, including AI. We were pleased to support this initiative. This year saw many participants and strong ideas, making it difficult to choose the winners. Ultimately, the deciding factor was the high accuracy of the solutions — both in recommendation systems and in intelligent document recognition modules,” emphasized Ruslan Yensebayev, CEO of bcc hub.
The winners of the country’s largest hackathon came from Astana, Almaty, Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Taraz.
In the blockchain direction, Solana Day powered by Decentrathon recognized winners in DeFi protocol development: Solarium (Taraz), Kazachi Kopai (Astana) and DOGS (Ust-Kamenogorsk); and in asset tokenization: NeoDev (Almaty), Ajeani (Taraz) and AIxArtxSol (Astana).
In the AI track by BCC-HUB, the winners for the personalized push-notification case were teams 2.08 (Astana), yerayal (Semey) and Artificial spirit (Almaty). For the OCR 2.0 case, the winners were StarWars (Almaty), zhurttyn baldary (Almaty) and qwerty12345 (Astana). In the inDrive AI track, the best teams for vehicle condition recognition were Sapiens (Almaty), Butaq (Almaty) and DOGS (Ust-Kamenogorsk), while for geotrail analysis the winners were ElArNa, plump and AIVIOM (all from Astana).
The awards ceremony took place on 4 October on the main stage of Digital Bridge 2025, where the winners of Decentrathon 4.0 received their well-deserved prizes in the presence of partners — inDrive, Solana Superteam KZ, Bank CenterCredit, bcc hub — as well as leaders of Kazakhstan’s IT industry.
Decentrathon 4.0 once again confirmed its status as Kazakhstan’s largest IT event and became a platform for developing new ideas demanded by both business and the wider tech ecosystem.
