“AI’preneurs creates an environment where talents, entrepreneurs, founders, and engineers are able to develop and test new business models based on cutting-edge technologies, primarily artificial intelligence. Since its launch in 2024, the program has received 950 applications from Kazakhstan and neighboring countries, while startups from previous cohorts have already raised more than $400,000 in investment, reflecting sustained interest in AI and the strong potential of local talent,” said Magzhan Madiev, CEO of Astana Hub.
Among the innovative startups presented was Corelis AI, an intelligent industrial safety platform for the oil and gas sector. Following Demo Day, the startup received a soft investment commitment of $25,000 from the venture fund Astana Hub Ventures.
“The AI’preneurs program helped us build our product architecture, gain access to strong networking opportunities, and validate real market demand in a short period of time. We are currently in negotiations with one of the world’s top-10 international oil and gas companies. Going forward, we plan to scale the product to key markets, including Azerbaijan, Norway, Egypt, the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries,” shared Ilnur Yessenov, CEO of Corelis AI.
Also presented during Demo Day were:
AiPrower – a platform where AI connects customers and digital service providers in seconds;
Loadify.ai – AI-powered test automation that reduces costs and accelerates releases;
Strimmeo – an AI matching platform that connects brands, agencies, and AI creators for video, advertising, UGC, and graphics;
InnerSpace – digital building intelligence: engineering monitoring, predictive analytics, and operations automation;
Electi – an AI-powered recruitment automation platform where voice agents independently conduct screening, assess competencies, and schedule interviews;
Agesta.ai – a platform where AI agents drive projects to results. While teams focus on strategy, multi-agent systems handle routine tasks automatically;
DataX AI – an AI security platform that protects corporate AI systems and AI agents from prompt attacks, data leaks, and unauthorized access;
RailGuard – a system that reduces risks and losses for railway companies by preventing collisions with obstacles on tracks using computer vision;
Modeleon – an AI platform for automated financial modeling for investment banks, funds, and corporate finance teams;
Just EDU – an AI platform that frees up teachers’ time and provides students with personalized learning paths;
Label-Gate – an AI platform for food manufacturers that eliminates “label blindness” among staff.
During the acceleration, participants gained access to mentoring support, industry expertise, and Astana Hub’s infrastructure. All teams were provided with workspaces at the Astana Hub office, and accommodation in Astana was arranged for non-resident participants for the duration of the program, allowing them to focus fully on product development. A key role in the acceleration process was played by the program’s lead trackers, Evgeny Frolov and Nikolay Tyan, who worked with startups throughout the accelerator, helping shape product hypotheses and growth strategies.
Background:
AI’preneurs is Astana Hub’s flagship acceleration program launched in 2024. It is the first platform in Kazakhstan specifically created to launch startups in the field of artificial intelligence. The program brings together specialists from various fields—from machine learning and software engineering to marketing and product management. Over three months, participants progress from idea and team formation to bringing a product to market.
As part of the AI’preneurs program, a reality project was launched, showcasing the stages of team formation and AI startup development.
AI’preneurs Demo Day is the final event where participants present their projects to investors, venture funds, and business representatives.
