Astana Hub has opened applications for the sixth cohort of AI’preneurs, its accelerator program for AI startup creation. In 2026, the program is being held at the International AI Center Alem.ai.
AI’preneurs is designed for professionals who want to build their own AI startup and take it from an initial idea to first customers and investment. The program brings together developers, engineers, AI specialists, product managers, entrepreneurs, and startup founders from Kazakhstan and abroad.
Applications are open to individual participants, including developers, engineers, AI specialists, product managers, entrepreneurs, and other professionals interested in building technology products. Teams are formed during the program itself. Admission is competitive: applicants are evaluated based on relevant expertise and experience, strategic thinking, motivation, and their ability to collaborate and develop a technology-driven product.
The program consists of two stages. The first stage, Founder Lab, lasts four weeks and is designed for individual participants who form teams, develop entrepreneurial skills, and refine product ideas. The second stage, Core Accelerator, runs for ten weeks and focuses on validating hypotheses, building an MVP, acquiring first customers, and preparing the project for scaling. The program concludes with Demo Day, where teams present their startups to investors, venture capital funds, and corporate partners.
Participants will gain access to Astana Hub’s infrastructure, the AlemPlus technology platform, mentorship, educational workshops, and personalized startup tracking. Accommodation is provided during the Core Accelerator stage for participants from other cities.
The program also offers opportunities to secure early-stage investment and access international markets through the global Astana Hub ecosystem.
Since its launch, AI’preneurs has received more than 960 applications. The first three cohorts graduated 79 participants, who went on to create 35 startups and raise more than $400,000 in investment.
One example is STIKER.AI, an AI-powered service that automates workflows for tax consultants and independent experts, from document collection and reminders to payment processing via WhatsApp. The team developed the product during the program, launched sales, and entered the U.S. market.
Another success story is re:create, an AI’preneurs graduate startup that raised $150,000 in investment.
In 2025, startups founded by program participants generated 153 million KZT in sales and pre-sales, while two teams received soft commitments totaling $75,000 from Astana Hub Ventures.
