Why the UK market matters
The choice of the United Kingdom as a target market was a strategic one. Today, the UK is particularly sensitive to issues related to children’s and adolescents’ mental health. According to data from the NHS, one in six children aged 5 to 16 experiences mental health difficulties, while access to school psychologists remains limited.
At the same time, there is growing demand for preventive solutions addressing anxiety, emotional burnout and helping students make informed career choices in a rapidly changing labor market. These are precisely the challenges that WeGlobal AI aims to address at the level of the school system with a technology-based solution that has already been tested at scale.
Proven scale in Kazakhstan as a foundation for expansion
Over the past three months alone, the WeGlobal AI platform has reached more than 500,000 schoolchildren and has been implemented in 935 schools across Kazakhstan. The system currently includes 1,237 school psychologists, while students have completed over 570,000 psychological and career guidance tests and assessments.
The mobile application consistently ranks in the Top 10 of the Education category on the App Store, competing with major international EdTech products. This level of scale and practical experience has become a strong argument in discussions about entering international markets.
From regional success to global dialogue
Over the past year, the WeGlobal AI team has actively presented the project at international and regional platforms, including Astana Hub, InnoWeek 2025 in Uzbekistan and Digital Bridge. The startup became the winner of the Astana Hub Battle Digital Bridge 2025 in the Social Impact category and received a $25,000 grant.
At BETT UK, the team held a series of meetings with representatives of educational institutions, EdTech companies and experts from the UK market. Discussions focused on adapting the product to local requirements and launching pilot projects in English schools. Support from Nazarbayev University helped strengthen trust in the project and highlighted its scientific and practical foundation.
Mental health as a new school standard
Today, WeGlobal AI works with schools across Kazakhstan, trains specialists, conducts online and offline seminars, and expands access to evidence-based mental health and career guidance tools for hundreds of thousands of students.
Psychological support in schools is gradually shifting from being an optional initiative to becoming an essential standard. WeGlobal AI helps educational institutions systematically address areas that previously remained outside structured attention — children’s emotional well-being and their conscious choice of future paths.
Looking ahead, the WeGlobal AI team plans to continue its international expansion and adapt the platform for new markets where demand for mental health and career guidance solutions continues to grow.
