The competition will be held online. To participate, you need to post a photo or video post on Instagram with the name of the city, a description of the problem and its solution, indicating the hashtag #hub_ideabattle. Acceptance of applications starts on November 12 and will last until November 22, and on November 24, three winners of the contest will be announced live on the astana.hub page on Instagram.

• The competition, which starts simultaneously in all 15 regions of the country, is designed to identify new faces of the IT community and support fresh ideas, bring "smart" technologies to remote regions, and also raise public awareness about the opportunities provided by Astana Hub, - notes the managing director of the technopark Arkady Seleznev.

The jury will evaluate the applications in terms of originality, realism of the solution and positive impact on the existing problem - the impact factor.

To date, local IT communities have already been formed in 15 cities of the republic. These are Aktobe, Aktau, Atyrau, Kokshetau, Kostanay, Uralsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Taraz, Turkestan, Zhezkazgan, Kyzylorda, Petropavlovsk, Taldykorgan and Shymkent. Regional community managers of Astana Hub worked for 3 months with local programmers, IT companies and other interested audience, organizing trainings, workshops and hackathons. The “Idea Battle” social ideas competition will be the final event of 2021, which will bring together the knowledge and skills of startups from all over Kazakhstan.
