Astana Hub Resident – Kazakh Project Qalan Expands to the Egyptian Market

Qalan has officially registered and launched operations in Egypt. The platform is currently being adapted, with lessons being translated into the local Arabic language. Egypt marks the fourth country for Qalan. In 2022, the company opened a representative office in Tatarstan, and last year, it successfully entered the Uzbek market, quickly becoming a leader there, as reported by digitalbusiness.kz.

Qalan, a Kazakh EdTech platform, has completed the translation of materials for grades 0-5 into Arabic. This process included translating lessons and creating video explanations. Kuanysh Nabiev, co-founder of Qalan, highlights that Arab countries are actively investing in education and technology, particularly in the STEM fields.

It is worth noting that Qalan helps students from grades 0-11 earn money by studying mathematics and solving problems. The platform currently has over 800,000 registered users. The company is also a resident of Astana Hub.
