Yessenov Technopark to Offer Training Based on Nicolas Sadirac's 01 Edu Method with Support from Astana Hub
Yessenov Technopark has opened in Mangistau to train IT specialists and support startups. Renowned French educator Nicolas Sadirac, the author of the revolutionary Ecole 42 and 01 Edu methods that have transformed IT education globally, has been invited to implement the educational program.
The Ecole 42 program is known for its unique approach to education without teachers or traditional lectures. Instead, students work on real-world projects in a collaborative environment, enabling deeper practical engagement.
Following these principles, Yessenov Technopark will implement the 01 Edu program, a two-year course focusing on advanced fields such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, game development, and cybersecurity. The Nicolas Sadirac Educational School was launched with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry and the Astana Hub international tech park.
Yessenov University will be the first institution in Kazakhstan to implement this program. The technopark is equipped with 90 high-performance computers, providing students access to modern technologies and enabling them to develop projects that meet international labor market standards. Graduates of the program will not only be competitive within Kazakhstan but also on the global stage, equipped with in-demand skills and access to cutting-edge technology. Yessenov Technopark marks a significant step forward in developing the IT sector and technological entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan, offering new opportunities for youth and businesses.
It is worth noting that a memorandum of strategic partnership was signed between the Ministry of Digital Development and NSDS Digital Investments to advance digital and AI education in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The memorandum was signed by Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev and Nicolas Sadirac, co-founder of NSDS Digital Investments.
This partnership, with Astana Hub as a key participant, focuses on developing a network of innovative programming schools under the Tomorrow School initiative based on the 01 Edu platform. The collaboration includes creating an innovative AI curriculum, promoting Kazakhstani talent on the international stage, facilitating knowledge exchange, and enabling participation in various events.
Tomorrow School is Kazakhstan's first peer-to-peer artificial intelligence school, launched by Astana Hub in October as part of the President's initiative to develop AI and digitalization. The school operates exclusively on the 01 Edu platform and offers a unique opportunity for free AI training without requiring prior programming skills.
