Achievements of «Epigraph» within the framework of Participation in Astana Hub

Good afternoon, esteemed participants of Astana Hub!

Our team is delighted to share the results of our work and the key achievements we have reached as part of our participation in Astana Hub.

The total number of users of the online portals "Electronic Library" and "Multimedia Online Courses" has exceeded 100,000 and currently stands at 102,970 people. We are grateful for your trust and are pleased to be of service!

One of the most significant achievements has been the nearly sixfold increase in the collection of multimedia online courses for people with hearing impairments — from 42 to 243 course titles.

Among them:

· Kazakh language — 140

· Russian language — 99

· English language — 4

This rapid growth became possible thanks to the use of artificial intelligence technologies. We employed neural networks to adapt educational content, which made it more accessible and user-friendly for people with special needs.

In the area of inclusive education, we also developed a prototype of an online platform featuring learning materials adapted for people with visual impairments. The demo version of the AWeb (Audio Web) platform was presented to delegates from 30 countries at the UN ESCAP Conference — the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Meeting on Digital Inclusion and Transformation (link to materials).

We express our sincere gratitude to Astana Hub for the opportunity to participate in such a high-level international event. The valuable advice from experts, the feedback received, and new connections with representatives of IT companies and startups in Kazakhstan have provided strong momentum for the further development of our project.

Based on the experience and recommendations gained, we have begun creating a more advanced version of AWeb (Audio Web). This is an online platform-builder for creating high-quality educational content for people with visual impairments. AWeb is designed with mobile accessibility in mind and does not require any special equipment, making it available anytime and anywhere.

The outcome of this project is intended to be a tool that enables the creation of educational content for people with visual impairments in a high-quality, fast, and independent manner — ensuring equal access to information.
