Jamila Kenzhebekova, Chief Operating Officer of the Sherlock AI platform, participated in the prestigious Harvard conference HCONF 2025, organized by the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR). This event brought together future leaders, entrepreneurs and experts from around the world to discuss key challenges of our time, including digital transformation, artificial intelligence and intercultural cooperation.

The conference has become a unique opportunity to share experiences and ideas. Jamila noted that one of the most memorable moments was the speech of Manish Maheshwari, the former head of Twitter India, who is now a Harvard professor and the founder of his own AI startups. Manish shared his views on digital transformation and technology leadership, emphasizing the importance of focusing on solving problems rather than finding solutions.

In addition to Maneesh, such outstanding speakers as Leslie Gow, former Technical Director, technical advisor at the present, spoke at the conference.  The World Bank, and Oliver Hart, winner of the 2016 Nobel Prize in Economics. They shared their views on global economic shifts and the role of technology in the modern world. Robert Waldinger, a Harvard professor, presented the results of his 85-year-old study on happiness, which has become one of the longest in history. His presentation reminded the participants of the importance of balancing professional ambitions and personal well-being.

Jamila also noted that there were few representatives from Kazakhstan at the conference, while the delegations from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan were much larger. This inspired her to expand the program in Kazakhstan so that more young Kazakhstanis could access such opportunities. She believes that participating in such events helps not only to broaden horizons, but also to establish valuable connections that can form the basis for future projects.

During the conference, Jamila and the Sherlock AI team began working on negotiations with Manish Maheshwari, discussing possible cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence. Manish, as an expert in AI and digital transformation, expressed interest in the Sherlock AI platform and its potential for solving business problems. This opens up new horizons for the company's development and entry into the international level.

Participation in HCONF 2025 was an important step for Jamila and Sherlock AI in strengthening their positions on the global stage. The conference not only inspired new ideas, but also confirmed that Kazakhstani startups such as Sherlock AI have every chance to become part of a global technological breakthrough.

Jamila Kenzhebekova is confident that such initiatives as the Harvard Conference should be available to more Kazakhstanis. She plans to actively work so that young entrepreneurs and specialists from Kazakhstan can participate in such events, gain new knowledge and inspiration to create innovative projects.
