Digital Business , together with Yandex Cloud, announces the launch of an ambitious project — a rating of the best technical directors of startups in Kazakhstan. The aim of the initiative is to highlight the importance of the CTO's role in the development of technology business and to introduce the country's leading experts to the public.

Acceptance of applications started on June 5. Applications are accepted until July 5th. 

The competitive selection process will last until October and will take place in two stages:

Stage 1: An independent jury will analyze all the questionnaires received for compliance with the criteria and select 10 finalists. 

Stage 2: Digital Business will prepare 10 CTO success stories and launch a public vote — the audience will determine the winner. 

The solemn awarding ceremony for the leaders of the rating will take place in the fall of 2025. The finalists of the project will be selected by an authoritative jury, which includes leading representatives of the Kazakh business environment.:

·         Alexander Kuttukov — CEO of ABR Tech;

·         Igor Borodikhin — CTO of Kolesa Group;

·         Nazgul Baytemirova — Chief of Staff of Astana Hub Ventures Ltd;

·         Nikita Razhev is the Head of Startup programs and Commercial Initiatives in Yandex Cloud;

·         Kairat Bazarbekov — Managing Director for IT at Centras Group;

·         Ivan Korshunov — Director of the Cybersecurity Department of Bereke Bank JSC (subsidiary bank Lesha Bank LLC (Public)); 

·         Vitaliy Volyanyuk is the Director and co—founder of Digital Business.

The main prize is a grant for a cloud infrastructure in Yandex Cloud for further product development.
