The experts evaluated the participants according to five key criteria:

- Leadership skills characteristics;
- Business thinking;
- Innovativeness and adaptability;
- Previous ones achievements.

"To be honest, it was both difficult and very interesting to choose at the same time. The geography was impressive – there are CTOs whose solutions work from Kazakhstan to the USA, Mexico and Egypt. Someone attracted $500,000 in investments, someone launched MVP for 6 weeks. Почти в каждой анкете – а они, в основном, были заполнены очень подробно – члены жюри находили много ценной информации: с какими вызовами сталкиваются наши СТО и как их решают. Мы также обратили внимание, что многие СТО почти не выступают публично. Их большой труд – все то, что находится “под капотом” любого технологического проекта – часто остается в тени. Нам кажется важным “подсветить” этих героев, ведь успех стартапа критически зависит от работы СТО и всей технической команды», — директор и сооснователь Digital Business Виталий Волянюк.

Впереди интервью с каждым из финалистов – они будут публиковаться на площадках Digital Business в ближайшие недели. Затем стартует публичное голосование, по результатам которого выберут лучшего CTO года.
