Project: NeuroDream: Sleep medialization and mind-control technology — the first step toward real SAO

To develop a neurodevice that:

  • Reads brain activity (especially from the frontal and motor cortex),
  • Interprets simple images, emotions, and thoughts, potentially even dreams,
  • Becomes the foundation for virtual reality control without physical movement — using only the mind.
  1. Records EEG signals from the brain in real time.
  2. Uses an AI model to detect patterns and associate them with emotions, images, or intent.
  3. Visualizes these patterns through simplified VR environments or dream reconstruction.
  4. Long-term goal: serve as the core technology for a fully immersive VR world controlled entirely by thought (inspired by SAO).
  • Turns science fiction into practical neurotechnology.
  • Solves real problems: assistive control, therapy, immersive gaming.
  • Lays the groundwork for the next generation of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs).

Abdramanov Ernary Erbolovich, 18, student and independent researcher in neurobiology and future technologies.Ambition: to recreate the core of SAO through gradual, realistic engineering: starting with dream decoding and mind-driven input systems.Backed by a detailed technical roadmap, risk analysis, and a modular implementation strategy.

  • Seed funding to develop the prototype and core software,
  • Collaboration with neuroscience, AI, and VR experts,
  • Support from Astana Hub for acceleration and scaling
