A new generation 3D laboratory has been opened in Mangystau Hub

Mangystau Hub has launched a modern space for young people - a 3D laboratory for digital production. Now students, aspiring engineers and startups can master 3D modeling skills, create prototypes and learn how to work with high-tech equipment in the hub.

The laboratory has become part of the hub's ecosystem aimed at developing engineering thinking and project culture in the region. The project was implemented with the support of the Department of Digital Technologies of the Mangystau region and the technological partner of Polymedia LLP. The 3D Point team provided the technical equipment and launch of the ecosystem.

The laboratory includes:

  • 2 ultra-high-speed 3D printers Creality K1 Max
  • 4 Professional Creality K1C Printers
  • 30 coils of PLA filament
  • 6 laptops for modeling and printing

The official opening took place on June 1. As part of the launch, the 3D Point team conducted intensive 3D printing and digital design.

The first 3D Modeling Bootcamp is taking place from June 16 to 27, where participants learn digital design tools, create their own prototypes, and work under the guidance of mentors.

"This is more than just a new space. This is the point of transformation. We believe that this is where future creators of world-class startups and technological solutions will appear," said Aigerim Mazhtai, Regional Manager of Mangystau Hub.

A series of workshops and courses will be launched in the near future, where participants will be able to explore 3D printing, digital prototyping and implement their own engineering ideas.

Mangystau Hub continues to form the infrastructure for youth growth and digital transformation of the region.
