    The Anton Paar (MCR) 302 modular compact rheometer allows measuring the fluidity and viscoelastic properties of samples from low-viscosity liquids to soft solids (gels). Measurements can be carried out in rotation and oscillation modes, as well as using various geometries such as concentric cylinders or cone-plate.

  • Main technical characteristics

    The Anton Paar MCR 302 is equipped with a high-precision air bearing, an electronically controlled brushless motor, an integrated normal force sensor and a high-resolution optical encoder, which allows rheological measurements in the torque range from 0.5 nM to 230 nM. The high-precision Peltier thermocouple provides temperature control in the range from -40 to 200 °C. The MCR 302 supports various rheological tests, such as rotational, vibrational, and combinations thereof, to determine the rheological properties of liquids and gels, including their viscosity, shear stress, and shear modulus.
