Senior Frontend Developer (Gamedev)

We are currently looking for a Senior Frontend developer to join the team, who will ensure stability, performance (animations, ANR) and feature delivery speed.

Functional responsibilities:

• development and programming of game logic and architecture of game mechanics;

• ensuring high quality and stability of functionality: minimizing the number of bugs, ready for release;

• profiling, debugging, and optimizing client code to reduce ANR (Application Not Responding);

• verification and testing of the developed functionality;

• tracking and quality control of functionality after release and prompt elimination of critical issues;

• maintaining and improving the architecture;

• monitoring compliance with architectural standards, code style, and team regulations.

Hard-skills:

• at least 5 years of experience in the development team;

• at least 3 years of experience working with the TypeScript+React stack (experience in implementing complex CSS animations and transitions);

• required: advanced command of React, expert layout skills (adaptive, cross-browser, pixel-perfect, cross-platform for mobile devices), Less/Sass;

• experience in creating SPA applications and mobile applications;

• ability to work with API and SDK;

• the ability to explore ANR, crash, find dependencies and improve performance.

Soft-skills:

• Training and development: you are constantly learning new things (technologies, approaches), you are ready to quickly master what you need for a project, and you share your knowledge;

• Timing assessment: You realistically estimate the time for tasks, take into account the risks, set priorities and meet deadlines.;

• Communication with management: you can clearly and reasonably convey your position to the management and other teams.;

• Proactivity: You see problems in the code or processes yourself and suggest ways to solve and improve them.;

• solving complex tasks: able to understand, design and implement solutions for complex technical and architectural problems.

It will be a plus:

• an understanding of backend principles (preferably C++/PHP) or a willingness to develop in this direction for effective integration will be a great advantage.;
• the experience of writing autotests;
• experience working with mobile applications.
