Responsibilities:
– Explore the market and build partnerships with key data providers in Mexico (credit bureaus, tax authorities, alternative data sources);
– Develop and maintain analytical data storefronts based on external sources for subsequent use in scoring models;
– Negotiate with data providers on issues of quality, cost, and ease of integration;
– Design and implement pipelines for processing and analyzing information from various sources;
– Analyze the competitive environment in the Mexican credit market, identifying new approaches to working with data;
– Participate in the development and adjustment of the company's credit strategy based on analytical findings;
– Monitor data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements when working with external sources.
Requirements:
– Experience of at least 2-3 years in the field of data analysis and credit risk assessment;
– Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools;
– Understanding the principles of machine learning and their application in scoring and classification tasks;
– Experience working with external data providers, credit bureaus or alternative sources of information;
– Knowledge of the Mexican financial market and local regulations will be an advantage;
– The ability to negotiate and establish communication both with external partners and within the team;
– The ability to work independently, while effectively interacting with cross-functional teams;
– English language proficiency at least B2 level — for communication with an international team.
It will be a plus:
– Knowledge of the specifics of working with Mexican tax and financial institutions;
– The practice of introducing non-standard data sources into decision-making models.
