Project Manager (PM)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams, understands Agile principles, and can communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.   

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and deliver projects within agreed scope, timeline, and budget

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, designers, QA)

  • Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban) in day-to-day project management

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives

  • Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and proactively address issues

  • Maintain project documentation (roadmaps, timelines, reports, backlog status)

  • Communicate project status clearly to stakeholders and management

  • Ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation

  • Support continuous improvement of delivery processes and team collaboration

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in managing projects and teams (preferably in IT / software development)

  • Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches)

  • Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluent in Kazakh and Russian, working proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with tools such as Trello, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Notion, or similar

  • Background in software development, QA, or business analysis

  • Experience working with external clients

  • Agile/Scrum certification (PSM, CSM, PMI-ACP)
