Data Delivery Manager (AI and GenAI Focus)

Brief description

As a Data Delivery Manager specializing in AI and GenAI projects, you will lead the implementation of advanced data platforms that leverage artificial intelligence and generative AI technologies for clients to reach their objectives. Your primary goal will be to ensure the successful delivery of innovative data solutions that meet client needs and drive business value.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage AI and GenAI implementation projects from pre-sales to completion
Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and define project scope, focusing on AI-driven solutions
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets tailored to AI and GenAI initiatives
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery
Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in data management, AI ethics, and responsible AI usage
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and engineers, to design and implement scalable AI solutions
Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to stakeholders, highlighting AI project milestones and achievements
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in lead roles such as Delivery Manager or Project Manager
Strong knowledge of AI and GenAI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics
Hands-on experience with at least one cloud data services provider (AWS, Azure, Databricks, GCP) and AI platforms
Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management, specifically for AI projects
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong understanding of the key GenAI projects' success factors, target metrics and KPIs, both technical and non-technical
Strong understanding of the GenAI projects SDLC/ADLC and implementation specifics
Strong understanding of GenAI projects' risk areas, potential issues and mitigation approaches and techniques
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to evolving AI trends and technologies
Professional managerial certifications: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, SAFe
Strong experience in the Fixed-fee contract typed projects
Technical certifications: Databricks, CDMP, etc.
Strong technical background in the area of data engineering, modeling or architecture, and generative AI applications development is a plus
Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
