Business/System Analyst

red_mad_robot is a technological company with expertise in launching digital products and new businesses. It includes red_mad_robot AI — a center for research and development of AI solutions.

We are looking for a Business / Systems Analyst with experience in fintech and AI technologies.

From you:

Work experience as a BA / SA for 4–5+ years, preferably in digital, fintech, or banking.

Proven expertise in both sides of analysis — business requirements and systems specifications (API, data, integrations). A process-oriented approach alone is not enough for us.

Ability to read and interpret API specifications (OpenAPI / Swagger), understanding of REST, and authentication and authorization models (OAuth 2.0 / OIDC).

Proficiency in notations — BPMN, UML, and building data flow diagrams.

Structured thinking, the ability to work under conditions of uncertainty, and a capacity to quickly dive into regulatory and technical texts.

What we are looking for regarding AI:

Product-level understanding of LLM operation principles — context window, temperature, non-deterministic output, hallucinations, and model limitations. This should be enough to set realistic requirements and avoid requesting the impossible.

Understanding the difference between deterministic systems and the probabilistic output of LLMs, as well as how this changes the approach to acceptance criteria and testing.

Applied prompt engineering — the ability to write and review prompt specifications, and formulate system instructions and constraints. Conceptual understanding of agentic systems — tool use / function calling, multi-step chains, and agent state.

Conceptual understanding of RAG — why retrieval is needed, what a knowledge base is, and how retrieval quality affects the response. This is necessary for participating in the curation of Sharia RAG and determining response correctness.

Approach to quality evaluation — the ability to define metrics and distinguish dataset types: golden set, silver set, noisy data, and negative cases. Dialogue / conversation design.

Using AI assistants in your own work — for analyzing documents, prototyping prompts, and accelerating specification preparation (Claude and equivalents).

Will be a plus:

Knowledge of Islamic finance (Murabaha, Takaful) and understanding of Sharia-compliance. Experience in Open Banking / Open Finance (CBUAE, NEBRAS, AISP/PISP, FAPI, PSD2 equivalents).

Understanding of AML / KYC processes and integrations (Sumsub, JuicyScore, ComplyAdvantage, and equivalents).

Experience working in a regulated environment and interacting with regulators or sandboxes.

To collect, analyze, and document business and systems requirements, decomposing them into user stories and use cases with clear acceptance criteria. To design and describe client and systems business processes using As-Is / To-Be notations.

To engage in systems analysis — specifying API contracts, data models, and integration flows with external partners (NEBRAS, credit bureaus, KYC/AML providers).

To analyze regulatory and industry documents (CBUAE, Open Finance, NEBRAS OpenAPI, FAPI, Sharia/AML) and translate them into specific product requirements.

To design AI agent behavior: to develop dialogue scenarios, guardrails, quality and acceptance criteria for LLM functionality, as well as to participate in the curation of the Sharia RAG knowledge base jointly with the product and compliance teams.

To maintain the backlog and documentation in Jira and Confluence, and to build diagrams and schemas in Miro using BPMN and UML notations.

To act as a bridge between the business, product team, engineering, and compliance — resolving ambiguities in requirements at all stages.

To support User Acceptance Testing (UAT): to formulate acceptance criteria and verify how well the implementation matches the specification.
