Functioning incubators, accelerators or technology parks can become partners

Astana Hub announces the launch of the Regional Incubation program. The main objective of the project (initiative) is to help local start-ups in the development of projects and strengthen the activities of technology parks, as well as communities of IT specialists and technology entrepreneurs (community) in each region of the country.

To implement the Regional Incubation Astana Hub is looking for regional partners who implement the Astana Hub start-up projects incubation program in their city. These can be functioning regional incubators, accelerators or technology parks.

Astana Hub will provide all the necessary support to new partners, and these are:

• financial assistance for the development of the incubator;
• assistance in finding the first pool of startups;
• intellectual, consulting support from the Astana Hub team;
• the status of the official partner of Astana Hub;
• PR support.

The following requirements are put forward for potential partners of Regional Incubation:

• cooperation with local executive bodies;
• a pool of startups at the idea stage that received help from the incubator;
• confirm the absence of tax debt and the availability of a balance sheet;
• availability of workers.

The selected partners for the implementation of the project must involve professional trackers and mentors, together with them, conduct an incubation program within 6 weeks.

By the end of 2020, the technology park plans to cover all regional centers of Kazakhstan: Shymkent, Almaty, Pavlodar, Kostanay, Aktobe, Taraz, Atyrau, Taldykorgan, Petropavlovsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey, Kyzylorda, Uralsk, Turkestan, Kokshetau, Aktau.

Applications for Regional Incubation will last until October 16, 2020, and the results of the competition will be announced on October 19, 2020. The official launch of the program will take place on October 26, 2020.
