Astana Hub has opened applications for Invest Day

The 10 best startups will have the opportunity to present their projects to leading investors


On April 15, 2021 Astana Hub, the largest technopark of IT startups in Central Asia, will unite investment attractive startups as well as local and foreign venture capitalists who are ready to invest in promising projects at one of the most important events of Kazakhstan venture capital market. 

Invest Day Astana Hub is a business platform aimed to increase the number of innovative startups, implement breakthrough solutions, implement technologies, support innovators and startups which will announce their projects, get feedback from venture market experts and attract investments to their projects afterwards. 

The best ten startups from Kazakhstan and foreign countries will have the opportunity to present their product to potential investors and business angels, and investors will have the opportunity to invest in the best startups and find a co-investor. For example, in 2020, the platform helped raise $200,000 in investments for startups CTOgram and ToiDriver. 

What the startups will get: 

Individual consultation with a professional tracker to prepare a pitch deck (presentation);
Development of the pitch (rehearsal of the pitch) with the tracker;
opportunity to speak in front of investors and venture capital funds;
50-minute individual matchmaking with the investor (in case of investor interest).

According to the press service of the Astana Hub Technopark, the main requirement for the startups is the availability of a technological solution, a working product and clients. There are no restrictions in the sphere of startup activity. 

The partners of the event are UVCA, InVenture, TA Ventures, ICLUB, Exploration Battle, MOST Ventures Found, Yellow Rockets, Central Asian Angel Investors Club, QazAngels Business Angel Club and KASE. In turn, more than 35 venture capitalists and business angels participated in the four Invest Day events, including 500 Startups, Plug and Play, Sturgeon Capital, MCI Capital, Acrobator Ventures, Tuz Ventures, Fort Ross Ventures, Quest Ventures, European Business Angels Community and Murat Abdrakhmanov, Marat Tolebayev, etc.
