From August 31 to September 3, an Astana Hub delegation participated in the LEAP 2026 international technology conference in Riyadh. At one of the world’s largest platforms for the technology industry, Astana Hub showcased the opportunities offered by Kazakhstan’s digital ecosystem, while Kazakh companies presented their solutions to potential partners and investors.
Kazakh IT companies participated in the conference as part of the Central Asian Innovation Hubs joint pavilion, organized by Astana Hub and IT Park Uzbekistan. The exhibition brought together technology projects from the two Central Asian countries and served as a platform for business meetings, presentations, and discussions on international cooperation.
At the Astana Hub booth, LEAP 2026 attendees were introduced to the opportunities available within Kazakhstan’s technology ecosystem, including the Digital Nomad Visa and Digital Nomad Residency programs, tax incentives for IT companies, acceleration initiatives, and venture capital opportunities for international partners.
Five Kazakh startups presented their solutions at the conference:
- Taulau — a platform for building IT products using artificial intelligence;
- MediCards — a digital solution for dental clinics;
- DataMost AI — a service designed to ensure compliance and data protection in accordance with Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL);
- askAlem — a platform designed to secure payments made by AI agents;
- Heartland — autonomous AI agents for software development and engineering design.
Kazakh company Cyberlabs was represented at a separate booth. The company develops cyber ranges for training information security professionals.
On August 31, the pavilion was visited by Madiyar Menilbekov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He learned about the solutions developed by Kazakh technology companies and Astana Hub’s activities in the Middle East and North Africa market.
Concluding the business program on September 3, Astana Hub representatives participated in Digital Central Asia, a side event jointly organized by Astana Hub and IT Park Uzbekistan in Riyadh. Attendees were introduced to the opportunities offered by the technology ecosystems of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to startups, investors, and partners from the Gulf countries.
Participation in LEAP 2026 enabled Kazakh companies to showcase their solutions to an international audience, meet with potential partners and investors, and strengthen business ties with the MENA region’s technology community.
