Free Social Leadership Program Covers Six Regions of Kazakhstan

The qualifying round for the social leadership and project activity course "Beginit by inDrive" took place in the East Kazakhstan region. The initiative, supported by Astana Hub and Oskemen IT Hub, aims to help young people unlock their potential and develop skills to create innovative solutions in the social sphere of the region.

The Beginit program provides a unique opportunity for tenth-grade students from the Pavlodar region to undergo an educational course on social leadership. Experienced business and creative industry leaders will work with participants, guiding them in creating research and social projects aimed at addressing the region's current challenges. The finalists of the Beginit program will receive grants for education at a new innovative university opening in Almaty.

"Oskemen IT Hub declares its status as a regional hub of Astana Hub! We are proud to represent the East Kazakhstan region as a key player in the development of the IT community. Our main goal is to create a favorable environment for the development and expansion of opportunities for IT specialists in the region. We are confident that our work will attract new investments in the IT sector and make our region more attractive to young talents. We invite everyone interested to join our community and work together on creating new and innovative projects," shared Didar Muratuly, the regional manager of Astana Hub in the East Kazakhstan region.

The qualifying round and press conference took place at the Kazakhstan-American Free University in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The social leadership program will consist of four stages: regional qualifying rounds, an educational module, a youth camp, and a project module. Participants who pass the selection will attend a training camp near the foothills of Almaty, where they can exchange experiences with like-minded individuals from other regions of Kazakhstan.

"Your region is our final point for selecting future social leaders. We have traveled the entire country in search of those who will set the direction for positive changes in Kazakhstan tomorrow, and perhaps in the world. Young and talented residents of Oskemen often achieve their professional and career goals, making a name for themselves not only in the country but far beyond its borders. Today, we will give the opportunity for a few dozen more young and ambitious individuals to try to conquer new heights, and for some, perhaps, to fulfill their dream!" shared Elena Tropinova, the project manager of Beginit by InDrive.

The program has covered the regions of Kostanay, Karaganda, Zhambyl, Pavlodar, West Kazakhstan, and East Kazakhstan. A total of 810 applications were received from the regions. The results of the qualifying rounds will be announced on December 11.
