The delegation was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhaslan Madiyev. The visit began with discussions at the ministry, where the parties covered further cooperation in digital economy, transportation, energy and trade, as well as workforce development for high-tech industries. Special emphasis was placed on deepening partnerships in artificial intelligence and implementing advanced technologies, opening new opportunities for joint initiatives and knowledge exchange.
The program continued with a visit to the International Artificial Intelligence Center alem.ai, where guests were shown the Singularity Museum, AI Cinema, industry-specific AI solutions developed with support from Samruk-Kazyna, and robotics projects implemented in collaboration with USTEM Foundation.
The visit formed part of broader efforts to develop Kazakhstan’s AI ecosystem. A key role in this initiative is played by the international innovation cluster Astana Hub, which together with alem.ai builds infrastructure for AI projects, develops human capital and strengthens international technological cooperation.
