According to her, Digital Almaty 2025 will serve as a key platform for showcasing AI-driven ideas and projects. The forum will take place on January 31 – February 1, 2025, at the Atakent Exhibition Complex. This year’s theme is “Industrial AI: Technologies for a New Era.”

“This event will be a major milestone in developing economic solutions and presenting cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies. Digital Almaty will feature an extensive business program covering AI integration into industrial ecosystems, the economy, finance, ESG, healthcare, education, and cybersecurity. The forum will introduce AI solutions aimed at transforming industries through smart factory development, modernization, and automation,” said Akhmetova.

The official program of the forum includes a plenary session with the Prime Ministers of EAEU countries. This year’s event will bring together heads of government from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Iran, along with leaders from the Eurasian Economic Commission. The discussions will focus on the digital agenda of the region, major digitalization projects, AI implementation strategies, and joint technological development initiatives.

The plenary session will also feature the Digital Awards 2025, recognizing outstanding achievements in artificial intelligence. In addition to traditional categories, the AI Movement initiative will also be highlighted.

“Last year, Astana Hub successfully launched several initiatives aimed at fostering AI and digital technologies in Kazakhstan. Special emphasis was placed on attracting specialists, training new talent, and creating the necessary conditions for the implementation of innovative projects. This year, we have introduced three new award categories,” Akhmetova noted.

• AI Quest TOP Players – recognizing the top performers from two AI Movement quests within the Astana Hub app.
• Best AI Startup Ideas – awarded to winners of Decentrathon 2.0, the largest multi-location hackathon.
