The new format reflects Kazakhstan’s strategic course toward building a sustainable digital economy, integrating artificial intelligence into key industries, and strengthening the role of regions in technological advancement. Digital Qazaqstan is envisioned as a nationwide forum held sequentially in different cities across the country, ensuring the direct integration of digital solutions and AI technologies into the real sector of the economy, public administration, and the social sphere.
The central theme of Digital Qazaqstan 2026 will be the new industrial era—Industry 5.0: The Power of Collaboration. The Industry 5.0 concept emphasizes the harmonious interaction between humans and technology, where artificial intelligence, data, and robotics serve as tools to enhance productivity, ensure sustainable development, and unlock human potential.
The forum will bring together representatives of government bodies, businesses, international corporations, investors, technology companies, startups, and the expert community to discuss and showcase practical applications of digital and AI solutions in industry, public governance, and regional development.
“Digital Qazaqstan is a logical continuation and strengthening of the digital ecosystem that has been consistently developing in the country in recent years. We are moving from isolated cases to a systemic and scalable digital transformation, where regions become full-fledged drivers of economic and technological growth. The forum creates a national platform where technology and artificial intelligence are integrated into economic and regional processes, ensuring sustainable and long-term impact for the country,” said Daniya Akhmetova, CEO of Digital Bridge.
Digital Qazaqstan 2026 will take place on March 27, 2026. The inaugural host city will be Shymkent—a key regional center with strong industrial and economic potential. Hosting the forum in Shymkent will create opportunities for a substantive dialogue on the digitalization of the real sector, the implementation of AI in industry, and the strengthening of interregional technological cooperation.
The forum program will cover key areas of digital and industrial development and will include a plenary session with government representatives and international experts, industry-specific panel discussions and roundtables, an exhibition of IT companies and startups, as well as technology competitions, contests, and hackathons.
A special highlight of the forum will be the Digital Qazaqstan Awards, a national award recognizing best practices in digital and technological transformation. In 2026, awards will be presented for the implementation of AI solutions in industry, the development of digital public services, regional digital transformation, socially impactful technology projects, and promising AI startups.
The forum is organized by the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Shymkent, and the Autonomous Cluster Fund Astana Hub. The event is funded through sponsorship.
Media representatives are reminded that accreditation for Digital Qazaqstan 2026 is now open. Applications will be accepted until March 9, 2026. To obtain accreditation, applicants must complete the registration form.
