This year, the conference brought together over 15,000 business representatives, investors, and leaders. The exhibition stand of Astana Hub attracted considerable interest among summit participants, particularly startups from Europe and the MENA region who are keen on entering the Central Asian market.

Particular attention was paid to participation in the Web Summit Startup Program. Kazakhstani startups were showcased at Startup Alley, engaged in pitching sessions, mentoring sessions, and networking events. This solution for startups provides an opportunity to meet with influential investors and executives who have noted the great potential of Kazakhstani projects for innovative growth.

SmarTestPrep: an AI-powered B2B SaaS and B2B2C offering customized solutions for students, schools, and universities worldwide.

Checkdoc.kz: a MedTech startup that provides online consultations with doctors and on-site medical diagnostics at home or the office.

Med365: an automated medical examination system (AMES).

Arlan Biotech: development of AI/ML models for nanobody sequence prediction.

Oraclus: a blockchain data analytics platform that provides advanced cryptanalytic tools to crypto investors.

It should be noted that one of the leading technology conferences in the world, Web Summit Qatar 2024, took place from February 26th to February 29th in the capital of Qatar, Doha. Web Summit serves as an effective platform for seeking investments and forging new partnerships, enabling startups to not only showcase their achievements but also discover opportunities for growth and exchange experiences with global leaders in the technology industry. The first Web Summit was held in Dublin in 2009.
